You have the choice between a Double room above one of the old wine vats, or a spacious Junior suite, both of which come with a terrace or balcony with views of the surrounding village. 

  • Incredible dining: Restaurant La Coopérative serves a wonderful set menu using the very best local produce, and affords beautiful views over the countryside through a generous glass facade that's cut into the stone. For its eco-friendly practices and culinary excellence, it has been awarded a Michelin Green Star.

  • Wine wellness: When it comes to drinking you can, of course, sample Hotel Riberach's own wine, or take the advice of the resident sommelier, who has curated an impressive selection, including organic and biodynamic varieties.

How to get there

The hotel sits roughly 40 minutes inland from France's southern coast, near the Spanish border. Perpignan–Rivesaltes Airport is 30 minutes from the hotel by car. Public transport is unreliable in this rural area, so we highly recommend hiring a car.

Domaine Riberach occupies an enviable location, sitting right at the foot of Bélesta's medieval castle. What was once a wine co-operative is now a serene set of luxury accommodations, transforming the previous working spaces into charming areas for relaxation and leisure. Staying here, you'll get a true taste of the region in no time as you tour the local vineyards and sample the region's wines.

The local area is rife with rolling vineyards, making for plenty of wine tasting opportunities, alongside walking, hiking and cycling. There are a handful of museums to explore, and pottery kilns nearby.
