Attractive Paris bolthole in a leafy corner of Montparnasse, close to the Jardin du Luxembourg – includes breakfast, and a bottle of wine.

  • Chic bolthole in a superb setting: Treat yourself to a stay in the city of light (and love) at Hotel Léopold Paris, one of the city’s freshest openings. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the 14th arrondissement (popular with native Parisians, mais oui) the hotel has a splendid setting within easy reach of the key sights.

  • Delightful amenities: Breakfast on continental fare and croissants before a day of pavement pounding and return to an evening tipple in the bar before you go out in search of the most fashionable bistro or wine bar in your guide book – there’s plenty to take your pick from nearby.

  • Sightseeing aplenty nearby: The hotel is set between Montparnasse’s train station and the genteel Jardin du Luxembourg, where you’ll find many promenading Parisian’s taking in the manicured lawns and paths. Also nearby is Montparnasse Cemetery (Satre and de Beauvoir were laid to rest here), Edgar-Quinet street market, the Paris Catacombs and the artists’ rue, Boulevard Montparnasse.

Location and what's nearby

static map

225 Boulevard Raspail, 75014 Paris, France

The 14th arrondissement is the antithesis of Saint-Germain or Montmartre – popular with Parisians, you’re more likely to rub shoulders with born-and-bred Paris residents than tourists down here in the south.

This Left Bank lovely is replete with gardens and a few of the more famous sights, such as the Catacombs and Montparnasse Tower – a 210-metre edifice visible across the city – it’s got a sleepier feel than the rest of Paris and a fantastic selection of restaurants, too. Eat a crêpe along rue du Montparnasse but don’t tell anyone we told you; it’s a secret among Parisians that these are the best in the city.
